Course Description

Peter van Ryneveld, CFA, Director of Johannesburg School of Finance (JSF), offers you an essential financial concepts and critical calculator techniques programme to help you prepare with confidence for the 2018 exam.

All participants will receive a file of notes and exercises and will be shown how to get the best value and most accurate results out of their calculator, either the HP12C or Texas BAII Plus. It will be essential for participants to have the correct calculator at the start of the course.

Participants who attend all the sessions and successfully complete a revision quiz at the end of the programme will be awarded a Certificate in Investment Fundamentals from Johannesburg School of Finance.

Peter van Ryneveld

Peter van Ryneveld's career has been in merchant banking, stockbroking and management training. He joined UAL Merchant Bank in 1985 as an investment analyst and by the time he left in 1988 he was Head of Research, responsible for monitoring the performance of shares in all sectors of the economy, producing the quarterly economic overview for the investment division of the bank and managing a department of ten people.
