Course Description
This three mornings course plus assignment is for anyone wishing to gain insight into the underlying story told by financial reports.

the main drivers of profit, cash flow and value
the structure of corporate groups and reporting principles

a business simulation exercise.
Successful candidates will receive a certificate from Johannesburg School of Finance which will also confirm the completion of one module of the School’s Certificate Programme in Practical Finance (CPPF).
The CPPF is a unique qualification comprising a series of four-day and three mornings modules in practical financial management designed to develop excellent skills for effective business decisions.
Peter van Ryneveld's career has been in merchant banking, stockbroking and management training. He joined UAL Merchant Bank in 1985 as an investment analyst and by the time he left in 1988 he was Head of Research, responsible for monitoring the performance of shares in all sectors of the economy, producing the quarterly economic overview for the investment division of the bank and managing a department of ten people.
