The purpose of these courses is to give trustees an overview of the essential legal and investment knowledge they require to manage their fund effectively. Both newly appointed trustees and those who have been trustees for a while but have had no formal trustee training will benefit from these courses.
Courses are run on demand by specific request and can be designed to meet your fund's specific needs based on the experience levels of your trustees. Where possible, we try to include a thorough examination and discussion of fund-specific documents such as the trust deed, the rules of the fund and service-provider agreements. The duration of our courses depends on the range of topics covering both fiduciary duties and investments that you would like us to cover; courses are typically between two and five days long.
