MEET OUR PRESENTERS

Peter van Ryneveld's career has been in merchant banking, stockbroking and management training. He joined UAL Merchant Bank in 1985 as an investment analyst and by the time he left in 1988 he was Head of Research, responsible for monitoring the performance of shares in all sectors of the economy, producing the quarterly economic overview for the investment division of the bank and managing a department of ten people.

Trevor Buckland worked for Old Mutual for 16 years within their Life and their Employee Benefits divisions. Over that period he held a variety of positions; including life agent, legal advisor to clients and intermediaries, advanced training specialist, marketing manager and executive and corporate consultant.

John Mitchell worked for Gold Fields Mining and Development for 12 years. During this period he designed and instituted a job evaluation system, personally presenting skills training courses to the management and staff of the mines.

Corlize completed her schooling in 1998 at Goudini High School in the small winelands town of Rawsonville in the Boland. She went on to complete her B.Comm Law degree at the University of Stellenbosch majoring in Financial Accounting and Economics.

Whilst in her third year of studying Bcom at the University of Johannesburg, Jolene started teaching at an IEB school in the south of Johannesburg.

Wim Venter has, since graduating from University, been involved in business development and in lecturing.

Saubrey Tshabalala holds a BA ED degree majoring in Psychology, Education, History and Business 1 and has attended various workshops on Finance for non-Financial People.
