Option 1

8 Saturday mornings, 08h30 – 13h00, fortnightly from 10 February to 19 May

Venue: Glen Hove Conference Centre, 52 Glenhove Road, Melrose (just off the M1)
Fees: R8 700 plus 14% VAT (R9 918)

Option 2

14 Tuesday and Thursday evenings 18h30 to 21h00, 6 March to 9 June

Venue: 27 Cumberland Avenue, Randburg NB: limited places, please book early
Fees: R8 700 plus 14% VAT (R9 918)

Included in options 1 and 2

  • 35 hours of instruction, including worked examples of key concepts, plus
  • a file of JSF workshop summary notes, exercises and slides, plus
  • an online practice exam, plus
  • ongoing personal support from Peter and JSF until the exam, plus
  • participation in the JSF WhatsApp study group, plus
  • refreshments and secure parking.

Certificate Candidates who attend all the sessions for either option 1 or 2 and successfully complete the online exam will also receive a certificate and credits equivalent to one module of the JSF Certificate in Practical Finance (see www.jhbfin.co.za for further details).

Option 3

Study support, slides and online exam only (ie, no workshops)

Fees: R2 964 incl. 14% VAT (or US$ 220)

Included in option 3
Candidates will

  • receive a soft copy of Peter’s workshop slides (which highlight and discuss key topics but do not replace any recommended study material)
  • be invited to complete the JSF online practice exam questions
  • be able to consult Peter at any time via email and phone right up to the day of the exam
  • be invited to join the JSF WhatsApp study group.

Peter van Ryneveld

Peter van Ryneveld's career has been in merchant banking, stockbroking and management training. He joined UAL Merchant Bank in 1985 as an investment analyst and by the time he left in 1988 he was Head of Research, responsible for monitoring the performance of shares in all sectors of the economy, producing the quarterly economic overview for the investment division of the bank and managing a department of ten people.
